Dynamic, compassionate, and relentlessly committed are just a few words that describe Rosie Savage, a U.S. Navy veteran, TEDx speaker, and advocate for social justice and equity. With an extensive background in psychology, social work, and industrial-organizational psychology, Rosie works tirelessly to uplift marginalized communities, particularly women and survivors of military sexual trauma.
Holding an MSW from Columbia University and currently pursuing advanced studies at Harvard University, Rosie specializes in creating systemic change through Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. As the former co-chair of Columbia's Commission on Diversity and a Presidential Appointed Sexual Assault Advisor, Rosie has consistently driven forward meaningful policies that impact underserved communities, making their voice heard in spaces that need it most.
Beyond advocacy, Rosie is an accomplished educator with over a decade of experience teaching diverse audiences, from college students to elementary school learners. Recognized as Educator of the Year more than once, Rosie is passionate about bridging the gap between learning and empowerment—ensuring that education is not only accessible but transformational. Rosie also is the 2024 Recipient of the James Campell Leadership Award, presented by Columbia University.
Now, through ongoing work in industrial-organizational psychology, DEI, and a new podcast collaboration, Rosie continues to challenge the status quo, offering fresh perspectives on social justice, relationships, and wellness. With a deep commitment to veteran advocacy, human rights, and community advancement, Rosie leads with purpose, aiming to make the world not just inclusive but empowering for all.
